Installation instruction

1.
|
Remove loop(s) from box, unfold, verify loop and lead-in dimensions and test. |
|
2.
|
Lay out the loop on surface or rebar. See drawing for circular design (25k) or rectangular design (24k). |

3.
|
Slide sleeves over the expansion / contraction joints. |
|
4.
|
Secure the sleeves to the loop with electrical tape in order to prevent premature movement of the sleeves during the pouring of the concrete. |

5.
|
Secure the loop(s) directly on top of the reinforcing steel with ty raps. Secure the lead-in underneath the reinforcing steel with ty raps. In case of existing concrete / asphalt subbase, secure loop to subbase with asphalt tape or similar product. |

|
It is permissible for loop joints to come in contact with installation equipment. However, it is advisable to avoid contact whenever possible. |
